What are aged leads?
An aged lead is a prospect who asked about coverage a while ago: days, weeks or months back. The first sale window is over, so the vendor sells the name again, cheaply and often to several agents. Aged life insurance leads and aged final expense leads work the same way; the age and how many times the lead has been sold set the price.
What do aged final expense leads cost?
Well under fresh leads. Here is what vendors and pricing guides publish:
| Source | What | Price per lead |
|---|---|---|
| Aged Lead Store (lead types page) | Final expense, 15 to 85 days old, shared | $1.50 to $2.50 |
| Aged Lead Store (final expense page) | 15 to 45 days old, down to 365+ days old | $1.50 to $1.88, down to $0.15 to $0.30 |
| InsureLeads | 30 to 90 days old, down to 365+ days old | $3, down to $0.50 |
| Goat Leads | Aged final expense, 45 to 181+ day tiers | $4 |
| TTC Leads (Overflow) | Never sent to an agent; 0 to 3 days old, down to 46 to 90 days | $18, down to $3 |

For comparison, our fresh leads are $30 to $40 each and exclusive for 30 days. More on the trade-off in exclusive vs aged vs live transfer leads and our Aged Lead Store review.
When do aged leads work, and when is fresh better?
- Aged works when your time is cheaper than your budget: filling gaps between appointments, training new agents on volume, mail or door knocking in a tight area, or re-contacting people who asked once and never bought.
- Fresh works when you want the prospect while they still remember asking and no other agent is calling. Expect far more dials per conversation with aged leads than with fresh ones.
- Either way, check how the lead was sourced, what consent comes with it, and how you are allowed to contact it. Some aged lead sellers limit use to manual dialing, mail or email. Our TCPA consent guide covers the rules.
How ours will work: Worked and Unworked
Our aged leads will be our own quiz leads whose 30 days with the first agent are over, split by what that agent logged. Worked leads were reached but didn’t buy. Unworked leads were never marked reached. Leads marked Sold, and leads credited as bad, are never offered. They launch soon; the price and terms come with the launch email. Until then, fresh leads are on pricing.
What you’ll get from us
- They come from the same Meta ads and final expense quiz as our fresh leads. Every one verified their phone with a text code and has a consent record.
- A lead becomes aged after its 30 days of exclusivity with the first agent end.
- We only offer aged leads the first agent has not marked Sold. Leads reported as bad and credited are never offered.
- You only get aged leads from states you’re licensed in.

Worked

The first agent marked it Contacted or Appointment set, but not Sold.
Unworked
The first agent never marked them reached.
The first agent never marked it Contacted or Appointment set.
Worked and unworked are based on the first agent’s updates in their dashboard.
